Looking for other sites like Myspace?
February 15th, 2009I’m a network marketers and love social networking, from
MySpace and Facebook to Twitter to YouTube.
The only problem is that for me, as home business owner,
my time is my most valuable asset - and none of those
networks reimburse me for the time I spend on them. The
strange thing about this is that without active users
creating new content and attracting more and more members,
there would be no reason for the site to exist: no one would
buy advertisements from the network if there wasn’t a large
base of users.
The simple fact is that without members and users, social
networks wouldn’t exist. Or at least they wouldn’t be free.
So if you are the one who creates the content, and attracts
the new members that make it possible for a social network
like MySpace to bring in tens of Millions of dollars a month
(yes that’s MILLION, and yes it says MONTH) doesn’t it make
sense that you should be compensated for all the time you
put into your profile and friends list?
I think so… and so do the creators of a site I want to
tell you about.
There are more and more social networking sites that pay
their members popping up all the time, the problem is the
payplans are usually crap. You have to log in a certain
number of times each month to be eligible for a percentage
of a percentage of the site’s profits which gets divided up
between all active members, or you earn a penny at a time
whenever someone visits your blog or something ridiculous
like that.
These sites have the right idea: pay the members that make
the site possible. What they AREN’T getting is that they
should pay those members ENOUGH. As in enough to actually
make a difference in their bank accounts.
Instead of a percentage of a percentage of profits (profits
which aren’t usually reported to the members in the first
place) or a penny at a time, what if you earned a specific
amount of money for every friend you referred? And then on
the friends they refer and the friends THEY refer? This is
what happens at a site called 6dgr, the first social network
to pay it’s members an actual, noticeable income for their
efforts. Here’s how it works:
$3 for each friend you refer
$2 for each second level referral
$1 for each third level referral
$1 for each fourth level referral
$1 for each fifth level referral
$1 for each sixth level referral
And the only thing you have to do to be eligible for payment
is activate a payment method, upload a picture and set up a
profile. That’s it. Then you start sharing, socializing and
earning.
6dgr (short for 6 degrees of separation) is an awesome site
that is free to join with similar features to MySpace and
Facebook that is getting more and more popular all the time.
We’ve actually been watching 6drg’s rank on Alexa.com and
it’s been pretty impressive. The rate at which this site is
gaining popularity (and blowing away the other paid
networks) alone is reason enough to get in now!
Think about it, you already spend timenetworking on
MySpace, leaving comments, writing and reading
blogs, watching videos etc., why not get paid for it?
If you want to sign up and create a profile, go to

send you an email describing how to get set up (so easy!) so
you can start earning money today!
